Established in September 2023, Plonk’d is an independent bar, specialising in wine, pintxos/tapas, and cocktails, drawing inspiration from the bars of Northern Spain.

After relocating from cities further North, we identified a niche in the local market for a unique venue like Plonk’d. We longed for the intimate ambiance of wine bars and sought to recreate an experience we'd personally enjoy.

Our menus, both drinks and food, undergo continual seasonal adjustments, ensuring an interesting and engaging experience each visit.

Special Events

From wine tastings to collaborations, our local community is at the heart of what we do. We absolutely love to spoil you with a range of pop ups and special events so please keep your eyes peeled for news of what we have coming up.

Food & Drink

Wine

We have an emphasis on serving wines that come from small, sustainable parcels of land that have been maintained with organic, biodynamic practice and  produced with minimal intervention.

Pintxos/tapas

Pintxos, Meaning ‘small snack’, these plates of food are found in all bars in the Northern Basque region of Spain. At Plonk’d, we use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create a tasty bite of food to accompany our wines and cocktails.

Cocktails

We enjoy crafting unique twists on traditional cocktails by utilising premium ingredients and minimising waste wherever possible.

Beers

For the beer drinkers, we serve draft lager and IPA’s from Bluntrock Brewery in St Minver, which we change seasonally in line with their brewing schedule. We also stock their ‘No Low can you go’ a great alcohol free alternative.
